I help business leaders develop authentic Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs).
I was the first Aboriginal woman to graduate from what is now known as Australian Catholic University. Once I had my teaching qualifications I worked in rural and remote communities teaching the next generation of Australians and found my passion for English literacy and numeracy education.
I have worked in the TAFE sector in the Riverina, NSW and Townsville, North Queensland, before establishing my own registered training organisation (RTO). I grew this business for 17 years servicing clients across Queensland, Australian and internationally. As a leader in the vocational education space in Australia, I was sometimes called upon to consult on training package development, policy and industry-influencing forums.
Since selling the RTO, I have been working as a business consultant and continuing my work in the charitable sector as a Board Director.
Seeing the need for down-to-earth, pragmatic guidance in the area of Indigenous affairs in business, I am now available to facilitate strategic and operational discussions to create meaningful outcomes for organisations wanting to engage in a deeper connected with their Indigenous employees, clients, stakeholders and the wider community. Walking together to build better businesses.
